Threads of Love

Central Illinois Threads of Love is a ministry serving premature babies and their families in Illinois hospitals, especially OSF Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.  Our ecumenical mission involves many women in the Delavan area who come together to sew blankets, sleepy vests, knit hats and booties, and form lovie dolls.  It is not necessary to sew in order to help, because many of the tasks do not require sewing.
Our workshop meets once a month at First Presbyterian Church and   has been meeting for five years.  In 2008, we produced 1,600 articles for OSF.  Anyone is welcome to join us in this important mission.  It is a time for fun, chating, and laughter, along with showing love for others.  For more information contact Joyce Culbertson or call the church office at 309-244-7105.
