First Presbyterian is a PC(USA) congregation serving Christ and others in his name in central Illinois. We celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2005 but while we remember and honor our past, we are committed to pressing toward the goal Christ laid claim of us for.  We, therefore, are looking toward the future and recognize the future may not look like that past.

As a church we strive to find new ways to worship, study, serve, and fellowship with God and neighbor.  We hope you will take the time to learn more about who we are as a congregation of Jesus Christ by exploring the website.  You can learn about our history and beliefs as well as see how we currently worship, study, serve, and fellowship with God and neighbor.
