Supper and Study

We will begin meeting for Supper and Study every Wednesday night at 6:00, beginning October 7. We begin with a meal and a time of fellowship. We believe it is important to break bread with one another and it is a nice relaxing time during the week to not have to worry about cooking. We either purchase food from one of Delavan’s local restaurants or someone from the congregation volunteers to make the meal. The cost of each meal is $5, though often the meals are so big people need to take leftovers home!After our meal we open our Bibles and have a time of study together. We desire to have a large group discussion rather than a lecture so we can all learn from each others’ questions, comments, and perspectives.We have studied the Lord’s Prayer, Psalm 23, Christmas hymns, and are currently studying stories of transformation in the Bible. The Supper & Study will be led by Pastor David and will begin to look at the Book of Acts.

Because we order food we ask that you sign up for Supper and Study by Tuesday afternoon and there is always a sign-up sheet outside the sanctuary. We would love for you to join us on Wednesdays at 6:00 for a Supper and Study!
